Just a short little weekend entry, but I think I’m going to depress ALL of you. Well, I doubt what I’m about to write is depressing, but it ain’t happy. All I wanted to say is that sometimes, we make mistakes, and we cause problems for ourselves that are worse than they were meant to be. Maybe you said the wrong thing to a good friend and now you’re not speaking, or you did something unintentionally that offended your family and they’re upset with you, or maybe you simply had good intentions and that good deed gets punished. Whatever the reason is, it sometimes feels like you can’t fix it, but maybe you’re not meant to fix it.
It may suck, it may hurt, and it may be difficult to bear…bare…burr? Anyway, it may be difficult, but all you can do is not look back. Just keep an eye on the situation, see if they’re learning to forgive, or maybe learning to move beyond it. Now, I’m not saying, don’t try to fix the problem, but if you’ve tried everything, then what can you do? Its hard to let go. I mean, I am the poster boy for how difficult it is to let go of things, but it can be done. You just have to keep working on it, and at it. But then you have to know when you need to stop.
Life would be so sweet if we have a swiss army knife or a sonic screw driver that could fix anything. Well, maybe one day it’ll be invented, and that would be awesome.
