Lisa
Every human desire to have to find someone we love and who loves us back.
sometimes it always doesn’t work out. We love someone who doesn’t love us back or
fall in love and things just don’t work out. These things are hard and sometimes
I think my life would be a lot more productive if I didn’t have these human desires.
I’ve spent 99.1% of my adult life going through all of the emotions of being in love
and falling out of love. Sometimes these feelings are amazing and sometimes I’d much
rather not experience them.
If you could get rid of the need to be romantically involved with someone,
would you do it?
Dave
Dave learns a little something about himself, and why at least one (But possibly more) past relationships have failed from an ex-girlfriend. Also, he talks about the rockstar phenomenon.
Francis
Often times we talk about how Facebook may not be for everyone in regards to finding a date or maybe even looking for someone to hook up with. Apparently, that rsquo;s a minority of people as many have tried to snag up the latest (banned) app to hit the social network, the Breakup Notifier. Its an app that, if you haven rsquo;t heard about it recently, e-mails you when a person you rsquo;re following from the app, breaks up. So you can pounce on that newly broken up relationship, and be that girl or guy rsquo;s rebound. Or something to that effect. With the millions who ended up snatching up the app, and the thousands who liked it, Facebook got freaked out and banned the app. For now, its out of commission, but the creater of the app Dan Loewenherz hopes that the issue will be taken care of, and the people of Facebook can continue to stock in comfort and contentment. There rsquo;s also another app Mr. Loewenherz has called the Crush Notifier, but that rsquo;s only for people who are single or cheating.

Last bit of Facebook-y stuff that rsquo;s going on, do people remember the websites for ldquo;Hot or Not? rdquo;. Where you rate people who posts pics on how hot they are. As a matter of fact, I think Myspace had that way back when, where pictures you posted up could be rated by users. Well, now you can have that fun with Facebook and rate your hundred rsquo;s of friends on whether you think they rsquo;re hot or not. Social Harpoon allows you to alienate your friends (not that Facebook doesn rsquo;t do that already with its ability to let you group people into categories), by rating them on who looks better. I think these wonderful little applications are a great way to tear people apart, which seems to be the case.
