Sorry I wasn’t able to fully listen live. The brony event took longer to start than usual. Who knew that going to a firing range would be so popular on Valentine’s Day?!? Had to wait 4 hours to get in.
Yes, candies and cards were given out. Don’t remember having a valentine on a Valentine’s Day until I met my now wife. Had girlfriends before or after Valentine’s Day, but never on it. Lots of crushes, but lots of rejection, and one or two who reciprocated in elementary and kindergarten. On the crushes the high school pimples did not help.

No, no making out with friends. Dares, but that is different. Now just friend cuddling/spooning, sure; that’s for warmth. There is a thing as the battle buddy huddle/snuggle, just for warmth of course.
Valentine’s Day is a reason to go out. Also, one has to show effort, to show that one is still being thoughtful of one’s boyfriend/girlfriend/husband/wife/spouse/significant other. Not doing anything is a not acceptable.

Japan Valentine’s Day, perhaps more slice of life anime is a needed subscription. Yes on Valentine’s Day there is gifted Chocolate by women to men, but like how we give candies and cards in Elementary School to all classmates, in Japan there is obligation chocolate and there is romantic chocolate.
Fat Tuesday us tomorrow, and Ash Wednesday is this week. For those who practice, what is being abstained from during Lent?

On 17FEB21, a historic media figure of the United States lost their fight against cancer. The tens of millions of listeners began to mourn. Those in opposition failed to show grace and civility and attacked the individuals memory, rather than being kind to those who had a feeling of loss. I can only hope the latter doesn’t happen when others shed their mortal coil.
