Welcome to the Online Friend Simulator. Because everyone could use a friend, even online. I’m Francis aka The Other Guy.
How are you doing? I hope you’re doing well. On this round of the Online Friend Simulator, it gets a little somber, as I bring up a recent tragedy with a fellow podcast. Then it’s about depression, then, about finding meaning, then…then…oh man. This is not a downer of an episode, I promise.
There’s talk of San Diego Comic Con, the convention family you grow, and the con experience as a whole. I play a voicemail that’s funny to me, and then I answer a comment from the website regarding that episode all about Karma. It’s all that and so much more on this OFS Show.
As always, any and all feedback is greatly appreciated.

First off – great to hear you had a good time at San Diego Comic Con. 50yrs for them is quite a feat & their theme this yr was very appropriate – but I’ll digress.
How are you now? 😀 Well remember, it’s always one step at a time to feeling better mentally for sure, just as long as you have the people important to you on hand.
The sentiment of finding purpose is completely understandable. Especially when throwing any various content out into the internet void – when you hear someone out of the blue & be like “I follow you & what you do help me / inspire me” makes you realize sometimes when you don’t think no one’s watching & you don’t know who they are but the know you & thank you for it is something. Does that fall into it?
Hmm. Either way, keep your friendships & friends always close because those lil things they do tend to help a long way regardless of the moods you have, they’ll be there for you too.
As for SDCC2019, for sure, there was so much more going outside the convention that I was able to check out to but it goes to show that there’s stuff to do even without a badge. It then boils down to what you really wanna do at SDCC that determines whether you wanna try the online lottery get a badge or not.
Oh! I dunno, I think you did fine during the panel. Also, very true the weather was wonderful during SDCC this year, just the sentiment for me – it was long but at the same time never feels like enough time when I was catching up the week after the event.
‘Til next time :D!
