Welcome to the Online Friend Simulator. Because everyone could use a friend, even online. I’m Francis aka The Other Guy.
How are you doing? I hope you’re doing well. Change may or may not be happening as society goes through protests, through a pandemic, and through all forms of emotions raging and swirling all over the place. The internet continues to tear people apart even in it’s attempts to bring people together. So hate, I talk about hate, and anger, and just people looking to pick a fight. It’s annoying. Or I’m annoying. Hopefully you won’t find me that way, on this episode of OFS.
As always, any and all feedback is greatly appreciated.

There are those of us out here that appreciate you
Cancel culture
The American 21st century cultural revolution
Beware letting this new forced conformity impact you
Least those who are part of this new movement know that you might think or believe different from what they demand you believe
The polarization of our society is concerning
Agree to disagree agreeably
When did that stop being a thing
I have plenty of friends who disagree with me, on many things, but our disagreements are less important than our shared experiences which made/make up our relationship
I did though had to end a friendship with someone. They shared their opinion, that those who don’t agree with them are fascists, and fascist are nazis, and nazis deserve to be violently silenced, even by physical means.
For want not to be violently silenced, I chose to walk away. Guess that makes me a nazi?
Too bad to, they’re not a bad person except for wanting to harm or supporting violence by others upon those who disagree with them.
Social media. There are some fandoms which would not exist if it weren’t for social media. Isn’t that right Checkers?
Thanks for reading my comment.
The world suck a lot of the time, and is mostly mundane boring monotonous repetitive. Every once in a while there are moments of sheer bliss and happiness; aren’t those the moments we live for?
Relationships (friendships, business, intimate, etc.) are a dance. It requires willing participants, and effort from all participating. I hope one day you’ll find your dance partner who wants to not stop wanting to dance with you. Also relationships are not always equal, I think I have said it before, they are like tides, which ebb and flow, weaken and strengthen with time. But as long as th participants want to continue to dance, a relationship will remain.
