Welcome to the Online Friend Simulator. Because everyone could use a friend, even online. I’m Francis aka The Other Guy.

This time around, I talk about things that are going on in my world. Sharing some of what I’ve done, what I’ve experienced, and the like. Then it’s onto the topic at hand. Some people overthink, and I know I’m one of them. Then there’s the shame of being who we are as people, and the folks out there happy to make sure you feel that shame. It’s that and a bit more on this new OFS Show.

As always, any and all feedback is greatly appreciated.

  1. Sorry we missed each other at SDCCI 2018. It was too long and too short. So many missed opportunities, so much missed content, so many failed attempts, so exhausting, so expensive, and yet so rewarding.
I have continued to be unable to contact you directly. Please provide me this information. Though I have very little free time, given my 80 hour per week work schedule, but if I can squeeze in time to go up, I will need to coordinate with you on such a trip.
Uploaded plenty of media to Wikimedia Commons, and had some technical issues during my panel at SDCCI2018. I will send you a link to the video of it once it is uploaded by the media team who worked with me. Slept in the Hall H line for the first time Sunday Morning 22 July 2019, that was an experience.
Until next time, be safe, prosper, and be healthy.

    1. Oops meant to say 22 July 2018.
By the way my podcasts which I listen to are of course yours, Bryan Suits’ Dark Secret Place & Super Hyper Local Sunday, CDR Salamander’s Midrats, and SF Debris’ scifi&animation reviews. I also read Fred Gallagher’s Megatokyo.
I have little free time, and when I am not working and/or contributing content to Wikimedia Commons and Wikipedia, this is where I spend this time.

    2. I won’t get into my political podcast I subscribe to. Yet I will mention that I have been going through The Federalist Papers on audiobook. Listening to spoken 18th century English is not listening to Shakespearean English, but it does take some getting use to.
