Moving Forward

Usually life “sucks”. We have commutes, bills to pay, we have levels of crap we have to deal with on a daily basis. In the world, people in power need to prove who they are, and men of evil topple and fall and die. If you think about it, that’s a whole lot going on. And then there’s our own personal lives, where even smaller forces push and pull at our very being, and sometimes it gets overwhelming. People come and go, others fall in love, some find regret, and others become lost in the sea of their own drama. So how do you handle the vast and rocky sea of your life?

Well, I’m willing to bet most people ignore it. You see it everyday where people just turn away from the problems(?) and ignore it. Others wallow in their own misery, wondering what the hell they did wrong, and I think it’s safe to say, a minority, just stand up tall and attack every problem that goes their way. The last bit is the toughest and honestly, not many want to hear it. It’s tiring, it requires motivation, and it means taking risks or being ballsy. It might mean doing things you’re uncomfortable with and that’s hard for anyone.

Today, I’m feeling like crap. It’s all mental, emotional, physical. I’m EXHAUSTED with life. It’s so unrelenting, and it does it’s best to kick your ass ten ways from Sunday. Which seriously, I have no idea what that means. And I might not be the toughest guy, or the one who’s ballsy and willing to take risks, but I am the guy who keeps moving forward. No matter what BS is thrown my way, I keep moving in that one direction. And for some of you out there who are tired, run down, listless and you possibly pop out at parties, just know that if you can’t break free from the weight of the world all at once, you can break free one step at a time.

And if you can’t do it alone, don’t be afraid to ask someone for help. Or if you’re stubborn and want to do it alone, at least TELL someone the kind of crap you’re going through. You’d be surprised how that lightens the load a bit. And this is me, taking a little weight off my shoulders and letting you readers know. Thanks for helping me move forward.
