Welcome to the Online Friend Simulator. Because everyone could use a friend, even if it’s online. I’m Francis aka The Other GUy

Episode number 4 has me talking about what a friend is. What is expected from someone who’s considered a friend? I also talk about my time at Wondercon 2018, meeting new people, and the power of an empty table. Any and all feedback is greatly appreciated. I’m getting more comfortable riding solo, but any advice would help me be a little less awkward and a little more fun. Thanks!

  1. Can’t stop now. I’ve travelled so far to change this lonely life.

I want to know what a friend is, I want you to show me.

  2. Francis,
You give yourself to little credit, and hopefully we’ll have more oppertunities to interact. As you get older you’ll find that the age of someone is not as important as what stage the individual(s) are in their life. People will be at different stages of their life at different ages. Friendship is magic, and while not necessary can be make the arduous journey that is life, with all its difficulties trials and tribulations, what much more interesting and hopefully easier. We are by nature social creatures, so being with those who will be friendly and supportive of you will enrich your time.
Loyality, generosity, kindness, laughter, and honesty … if you believe Lauren Faust … these are elements of harmony … the magic that is friendness.
Friends are different things for different people. In the end it is a form of a relationship, which hopefully is mutually beneficial for all involved.
Looking forward to getting to know you better.
