Welcome to the Online Friend Simulator. Because everyone could use a friend, even if it’s online. I’m Francis aka The Other GUy

We all can use a little confidence, but where does it come from? This time around, I talk about where I think confidence is formed. I also talk about staying away from toxic people. Unfortunately, I happen to be one of those toxic people. Take a listen on the regular if you have some time free. Check the show out on Twitch by following the link below. I’m still working on getting a schedule going as well as figuring out what I want to do on the platform. But for now, I will be announcing on Twitter when I record an episode, so you can participate live. Look. I have no idea what I’m doing. But please, share this podcast with a friend. I’d really appreciate it.

Thank you for listening. Please leave a review on Apple Podcasts or anywhere you listen to podcasts.

  1. Francis…the only thing I can tell you is what I keep telling you: “KNOW WHO YOU ARE & WHY YOU ARE!!!!!” That’s the best way that I can put it. If no one is assured of that, oh well, that’s their problem…..not yours. Know why you enjoy what you do, understand why you think the way you do, do A LOT of “soul searching”. Know yourself & keep that assurance. Don’t let anyone take the assurance of yourself away from you.

They can influence it, hopefully for the better but don’t let them take it away from you.

KNOW WHO YOU ARE & WHY YOU ARE!!!!

  2. Francis, although I only met you once, I don’t believe you are toxic. Again, you continue to undervalue yourself.
Let me share with you about a toxic relationship with a fellow brony, we won’t use his name, but his initials, SG. SG was a Iraq War vet, and someone who professed to be a brony. We first significantly interacted with the person when they declared they were about to become homeless. As a community we try to help each other out as much as possible, that is the military brony community, especially when someone was is in a drastic need. So over the course of two years he bounced between people within the community, living with them for spans of months, before that individual could no longer afford or stand SG. Eventually SG was near homeless again, after another military brony was abused significantly by SG where they could no longer stand or support the individual.
So SG came to San Diego, and one of our better off within the community took the individual in. At first the platitudes of SG were believed, we took SG to job interviews (even to interviews over 100 miles away), we took time out of individual normal to attempt to improve SGs post military life. This occurred over the better part of a year. During this time SG spent their VA check on alcohol and chew, raised the cost of the individual who hosted SG by hundreds of dollars due to increased utility bills, SG damaged dozens of their hosts items in failed attempts of food preperation, and moved in their near homeless girlfriend (who he got pregnant). Eventually, we could not afford him within our local community, so another military brony took him in at Northern California, to the point where the actions and cost of SG’s presence caused that host to become homeless themselves. We took in the former host who had been in Northern California, and they are now back on their feet. SG is who knows where, and we dread the memory they left behind, and warn others of their parasitic nature; that is a toxic person.
    You Francis, are not toxic.
