Punch: I understand that its upsetting when your significant other tells you they don’t want to marry you after all. Its even worse when its only a few days before the wedding. According to the article from NBC Chicago, the bride to be was so upset that her fianc eacute;e called off the wedding, that she wants to sue him for $100,000 for emotional distress.
Okay, again, I get that a person would be angry and distressed, but the ability to sue the man or woman for not marrying you, makes marriage a whole lot LESS appealing. I don’t know if this thing has gone through and I get you want compensation for all the expenses, but wow. I’d avoid marriage like the plague if I thought that I could get sued for cold feet.
Let’s hope this doesn’t go through. I don’t necessarily condone marriage, but people have the right to do it, and people have the right to back out. Its a scary thing to begin with, why make it scarier?

Having just recently delved into OKCupid, being one of the more successful, free dating websites, I find it hilarious. I’ve known people who’ve joined all sorts of online dating sites, and have had many success stories. I actually have my own profile on there, just as an experiment. Still, check it out and find out what the man who loves let the people know what’s going on, is finding in a woman. Just sharing this one, mostly because, I have really delved into OKCupid as of a week ago and this profile surfaces. Fun times.
