I think in the next few days, I’ll be refocusing these blog posts into something more tangible. Especially since I am watching tons of genre TV when I can. It might be cool to kind of talk about it and review an episode on this blog. I’m thinking about it. But the thing that I would most like to do instead of anything else, is sleep. I just don’t sleep. So much so that I think I had a microsleep session on the freeway on the way home. Luckily it was in traffic, otherwise it could have been horrible. That was certainly a wake up call, pun intended. Just read through my last few sentences. Do I really write like this? It sounds so…stilted. Anyway…
There was a manager, back when I worked for the movie theater, that told me he would sleep when he was dead. This is not the first time I’ve heard that spoken with such seriousness. I thought people loved sleep. Isn’t it the most amazing feeling ever, to come out of sleep, bright eyed and bushy tailed? This just proves we are an overworked society with little joy in life. I look at some European countries and think, “Must be awesome to live in a place that gives you much needed vacation days, actual, liveable pay, and all sorts of other goodies.” Meh, I don’t want to get into that.
My brain is fried. I’ll figure out what I’m going to write about tomorrow. Oh brother…now for something completely different. Halloween is mere hours away. So here’s another song to get you guy’s geared up for the festivities.
