  1. Welcome back to Francis’ online world.
RIP SDCCI ’20, and the ~$166m not going to the San Diego economy
One may not be notable in the entertainment industry sense, but one hopes that when death comes for us, that our passing from this mortal world will have as much impact on those around us, as these celebrities have for their fans. Hopefully more will be saddened by ones loss, rather than cheering at ones demise.
Supernatural is ending. The last show on CW which started on the WB.
Feeling like dying sucks, it gives you time to reflect on death and what will happen once you’ve parted. But when one nearly dies, it happens so quickly that the moments before the event would be otherwise forgettable and possibly mundane.
Don’t feel bad about dining. You’re supporting a business that surely has had a difficult time during these on and off lockdowns.
One can understand that there is a pandemic which is impacting us, while also taking personal risk, while also taking precautions which one personally see as reasonable. One can also understand that others may disagree with ones opinion, and that’s OK too.
Jeff’s panel has +900 views as of this comment. There is another panel which someone you know is in that has +800 views and of this comment. Direct people to those panels and increase their views, and make their efforts more worth it. Some panels have tens of thousands of views, which is multiples more than their normal room capacity. That said I read a news article where they were putting down those views, comparing them to the millions of views a normal popular YouTube video would have.
Retro movie watching option, Drive In. Comfort of you own car, whatever smorgasbord you bring, and safety of your own air.
Part of the issue with masks, is we were once told that we did not wear masks that it would be OK, with those authorities hiding the real reason they were saying it. Supply concerns. Thus some people are clinging to that initial advisory. For right or for wrong.
Atop the face masks thing, when one heard authorities saying one thing, and healthcare providers closer to the issue saying another, it doesn’t help things. As those pieces of information drive alleged reasoning behind public policies. Trust is important when it comes to crisis management.
I like that one can get stylish with masks, also it hides RBF. What strikes me is the increase of refuse, even miles away from trailheads, of used masks left all over the ground. Like dog and cat feces, come on people, clean up after yourself and your fur family!
Covid19/Wuhan Flu closures provides on with the opportunity to catch up on movies and shows which they have missed before.
If persons can ensure that another person is not a Covid19/Wuhan Flu carrier, and can ensure that interaction is only between the verified non-carrier persons, why can’t there be a resemblance of pre closure social interaction?
