Welcome to the Online Friend Simulator. Because everyone could use a friend, even online. I’m Francis aka The Other Guy.

How are you doing? I hope you’re doing well. Life continues as the pandemic moves on. This time around, I witness something I thought I would ever see in person. Someone so in denial of their own narcissism, that he alienates an entire community. It’s tough, but I needed to talk about it, as we break down the people v the narcissist on this episode of OFS.

As always, any and all feedback is greatly appreciated.

  1. Here is a topic, why the eventual heat death and entropy of the universe, should not be a reason not to strive for happiness.
Looking for a show idea? How about Middle-aged Millennials: a podcast of Gen-Y life during their mid-life.
Aww aka The Other Guy in love in middle school. That sounds adorable. What impact did that have on your maturation? What life lessons were learned? Why did it end?
Where did you message board roleplay? Who was your character(s)? How did they reflect upon real life you?
Life is unfair, but it was foolish to expect it would be, as painful as that can be.
I must disagree with Anthony about the nature of people. Kids/adolescents can be some of the cruelest to one another, who target those who are outside of their group, who are outside their perceived normal. This is why there are bullies, and why stories of bullies go back to time immortal. It’s why we must be taught morals, ethics, and goodness.
Francis perhaps we enjoy hearing from you, and we are patient enough to wait.

    1. RightCowLeftCoast,

I agree…kids & children are the worst when it comes to demeaning, degrading, & belittling behavior. Most of my social issues come from when I was a teenager & not being able to handle rejection & bullying behavior. It’s sad that someone in their mid 40’s are still bothered by a trivial thing 20 years later, but it happens & has became a major part of my psyche ever since.

This is why I pointed out the importance of the concept of the elders or people of a later generation teaching & guiding a younger generation the ethics & morals of society. However, it can be a relative issue due to many factors.

I do have a heartfelt belief that we are all born with a conscience….it’s just harder for some people to deal with social & moral topics sometimes because of things like: poor instruction from parents or guardians, teachers, youth leaders, etc…., self stubbornness, greed, & even power or control.
